Special Gram Sabha Programme Held in Four Villages of Nubra

Nubra, October 5, 2026: Special Gram Sabha programme were held today in Hunder, Tegar, Partapur and Tyakshi villages of Nubra under the People’s Plan Campaign, with an emphasis on strengthening grassroots level participation in the development planning process and identifying village specific development priorities.
During the programme, officers and officials of various line departments interacted with the residents and apprised them of the various GOI schemes and welfare programmes being implemented for the benefit of the public. The participants were informed about the eligibility criteria, benefits and services available under various schemes, besides the procedure for availing the benefits. Health camps were also organised in all four villages, providing health related services to the local residents.
The programme witnessed active participation of the local community, with residents raising various demands, suggestions and grievances pertaining to developmental works and public services. The issues raised by the community were recorded for examination and necessary action by the concerned line departments
