Leh, May 25: The Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Subordinate Services Recruitment Board (LAHD-SSRB), in coordination with the District Administration Leh, successfully conducted the Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET) for the post of Wildlife Forester at Fortune Resort along the Spituk–Farka–Zinchen Road in Leh on Monday.
According to officials, 20 candidates had been shortlisted for document verification and were subsequently called for the PST/PET, of which 15 candidates appeared for the tests.
As part of the prescribed physical standards, male candidates were required to have a minimum height of 162 cm, while female candidates were required to meet a minimum height of 152 cm. The Physical Efficiency Test included a 25-kilometre route that candidates had to complete within four hours.
Authorities said elaborate arrangements were made to ensure the smooth, fair and transparent conduct of the examination process. All necessary measurement instruments and other required facilities were arranged at the venue for the conduct of the PST and PET.
The tests were conducted in the presence of Secretary, LAHD-SSRB, Sh. Rehmatullah Butt, JKAS, along with other concerned officers and officials. Dedicated staff were deployed for authentication and verification of candidates to maintain transparency and adherence to prescribed norms.
Medical arrangements, including deployment of medical staff and ambulance services, were also put in place at the venue to tackle any emergency during the conduct of the tests.
