Kargil, April 15: District Police Kargil organised an orientation programme for constable aspirants appearing in the upcoming Ladakh Police recruitment written examination at Syed Mehdi Memorial Auditorium Hall.
The programme was chaired by SSP Kargil Nitin Yadav, in the presence of Additional SP Ishtiyaq Ahmad Kacho, DySP DAR Tundup Dorjey and other officers.
Additional SP Kacho briefed participants about the orientation initiative conducted under the directions of DGP Ladakh Mukesh Singh and supervision of SSP Kargil.
Resource person SI Mehdi Khan presented details on eligibility criteria, examination pattern, selection process and the role of NCC certification.
Revenue official Mehboob Ilahi informed aspirants about the syllabus, preparation strategies and the “Roam Prep” mobile application for mock tests, advising candidates to study previous years’ question papers.
Addressing the aspirants, SSP Yadav highlighted the responsibilities of police personnel and urged candidates to prepare seriously in a competitive environment.
The programme, conducted in two batches, saw large participation and concluded with an interactive session. Inspector Haji Mohd Nissar served as convener.
