Nyoma, April 6: A cleanliness drive was conducted in Nyoma village and main market area by the Merchant Association under the leadership of Tashi Gyaltsan.
Around 40 members participated in the initiative, which was carried out ahead of the tourist and business season. The drive focused on maintaining hygiene and raising awareness about cleanliness among residents and visitors.
Participants also encouraged the use of dustbins installed in market areas, emphasising that a clean environment is essential for a healthy community.
