Leh: The first Union Territory–level Coordination Committee meeting for the Sacred Exposition of the Holy Relics of the Tathagata Buddha – Ladakh 2026 was convened at the LAHDC Conference Hall in Leh under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary, UT Ladakh, Ashish Kundra.
The meeting reviewed preparations and coordination among departments for the proposed exposition, which is expected to be a major spiritual and cultural event in Ladakh. Officials discussed arrangements related to logistics, public outreach, security, and participation of devotees and visitors.
The sacred exposition is expected to attract large numbers of pilgrims, monks, and tourists, highlighting Ladakh’s deep Buddhist heritage and spiritual traditions.
