Nubra: The Chula Shumari (Household List) was formally inaugurated at the Tehsil Office, Sumoor, by Sub Divisional Magistrate Nubra, Mukul Beniwal, IAS, in the presence of Tehsildar Sumoor Tashi Jorgais.
The household list, prepared with reference to January 1, 2026, serves as a fundamental document for issuing various public certificates and administrative records. Its completion is expected to improve administrative efficiency and public service delivery in the region.
On the occasion, a farewell gathering was also organised for Mukul Beniwal on his transfer and posting as Additional Deputy Commissioner, Leh.
Former Councillor of Tegar Constituency Rigzen Lundup and seven Nambardars from the Siachen belt attended the programme.
