LG Ladakh visits Gurdwara Pather Sahib

LEH: The Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, Shri Kavinder Gupta, today visited Gurdwara Pather Sahib on the occasion of Veer Bal Diwas to pay homage to the unparalleled courage and supreme sacrifice of Sahibzada Baba Zorawar Singh Ji, Sahibzada Baba Fateh Singh Ji, and Mata Gujri Ji.
The Lt Governor bowed in reverence to the extraordinary bravery, unwavering faith, and martyrdom of the Sahibzadas, the revered sons of Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, and Mata Gujri Ji, whose sacrifices remain an eternal testament to courage, devotion to dharma, and righteousness.
Shri Kavinder Gupta emphasized that Veer Bal Diwas is not merely a date on the calendar, but a profound reminder of the unparalleled courage displayed by Sahibzada Baba Zorawar Singh Ji and Sahibzada Baba Fateh Singh Ji, who, despite their tender age, chose martyrdom over relinquishing their faith — a sacrifice without parallel in world history.
The Lt Governor stated that under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the nation now collectively observes Veer Bal Diwas every year on 26 December, ensuring that the inspiring legacy of the Sahibzadas and Mata Gujri Ji occupies a rightful place in the national consciousness.
The Lt Governor also urged the youth to draw inspiration from the lives and supreme sacrifice of the Sahibzadas and to uphold the values of courage, truth, righteousness, integrity, and selfless service. He emphasized that their faith and valor serve as a guiding light for young Indians to contribute positively to society and the nation while remaining firmly rooted in India’s rich cultural and moral heritage.
He further said that the nation will always remain indebted to the indomitable spirit of these revered martyrs, whose supreme sacrifice conveys a timeless message of resilience, moral strength, and the enduring spirit of India.
