Shargole, December, 2025 — The ICDS Project Shargole marked Veer Bal Diwas with great enthusiasm at the CDPO Office, Shargole, following directives from the Director S&TW, Ladakh. The celebration was supervised by CDPO Shargole, Farida Banoo, alongside her dedicated team comprising Supervisor Punchok Dolma, Senior & Junior Assistants, Block Coordinator, and all Anganwadi Workers (AWWs) of the project.
The event witnessed eager participation from local parents and children, who joined in the patriotic spirit of the day. In her opening address, CDPO Shargole highlighted the significance of Veer Bal Diwas — honoring the courage and sacrifice of young heroes in India’s history — and how it inspires today’s generation to uphold values of bravery, resilience, and national pride.
To make the occasion memorable, gifts and rewards were joyfully distributed among the children, encouraging their active participation and instilling a sense of pride in their cultural heritage.
