Leh, November 17, 2025: As part of the ongoing “Mimangs-si-sJabstogs” (Administration at Your Doorstep) initiative, a public outreach camp was organised today at Martselang village under the Kharu Sub-Division. Residents from Changa, Martselang, and Shang villages participated in large numbers, availing various on-spot public services.
More than 20 departments extended their services during the camp. The Food and Supplies Department facilitated enrolment and updates in ration cards, while the Health Department conducted health screenings, generated ABHA IDs, issued PMJAY Golden Cards, and created PMGY beneficiaries. Officials from SBI raised awareness on pension schemes, digital banking, and cyber fraud.
The ICDS Department provided services such as PMMVY enrolment and creation of APAAR IDs. The Agriculture Department assisted with KCC and PM-KISAN enrolments. The Rural Development Department issued job cards and completed e-KYC for existing job card holders.
The Sheep and Animal Husbandry Department distributed medicines and conducted anti-parasitic spraying. Ongoing works of PWD, Rural Development, Irrigation & Flood Control, and PHE were reviewed, and several public grievances were resolved on the spot.
Certificates including Resident, Domicile, Mutation, and ST certificates were also issued. Aadhaar enrolment and correction services were provided by the Education and Rural Departments. Punjab National Bank, Kharu, also conducted a financial literacy camp for the villagers.
The camp witnessed enthusiastic public participation, reflecting the success of the administration’s continued efforts to ensure last-mile delivery of government services.
