Leh, Nov 17: The Administrative Secretary, School Education Department, UT Ladakh, Bhanu Prabha along with Chief Education Officer, Leh, Deldan Angmo and Zonal Education Officer, Durbuk, Manzoor Hussain visited Higher Secondary School, Tharuk, Tangste, High School, Sato, High School, Chushul, Primary School, Buk, Chushul, and Primary School, Tialing, Chushul on November 15.
The Administrative Secretary began her visit with Higher Secondary School, Tharuk where she interacted with the teachers and inspected the school buildings and the hostels. This was followed by a visit to High School, Sato where she checked the progress of infrastructure development under the Samagra and SDP schemes and the teachers provided her with a status report of the upcoming examinations of the students.
Additionally, the Administrative Secretary visited High School Chushul where a large number of residents had gathered to thank the Secretary for upgrading the school to Higher Secondary. She also checked the progress of infrastructure developments in the school compound and assured the residents that a girl’s hostel will soon be initiated in the school. The Secretary held a comprehensive discussion with the Goba (Village Headman), Chairman of Village Committee and village residents along with the teachers.
The tour concluded with a visit to Primary School, Tialing, Chushul and Primary School, Buk, Chushul.
