Leh: The Mahabodhi International Meditation Centre (MIMC) welcomed MP of Ladakh, Mohd. Haneefa Jan, during his visit to the campus.
He was received by Bhikkhu Sanghasena, along with senior members of MIMC including Ven. Lobzang Nyantak, Tsering Samphel, and Aman Ullah.
During the visit, the MP toured the Mahakaruna Charitable Hospital and Mahabodhi Higher Secondary School, where he observed the Centre’s efforts to provide quality healthcare and education to underprivileged communities.
Haneefa Jan held detailed discussions with Bhikkhu Sanghasena on the Centre’s spiritual, social, and developmental work. He praised the Centre’s role in promoting peace, compassion, and holistic growth, and assured his support for its continued service to society.
The MIMC team expressed gratitude for the MP’s visit and his words of encouragement.
