Leh: In a significant celebration of educational excellence, the Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, Brigadier (Dr) BD Mishra (Retd), along with First Lady Smt Neelam Mishra, graced the inaugural State Teachers Award 2024 ceremony held in Leh. The event marked a momentous occasion in the Union Territory, recognizing the unwavering dedication and commendable contributions of educators from the Leh and Kargil districts.
The awards were conferred upon outstanding Lecturers, Masters, and Teachers who have demonstrated exemplary service and innovation in the field of education. Their efforts have significantly contributed to the upliftment of academic standards and holistic development of students across Ladakh.
The State Teachers Award is a landmark initiative by the UT Administration to institutionalize the recognition of teaching excellence and to motivate educators to strive for higher standards in both instruction and mentorship.
