Leh, 28th May: The Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC), Leh has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Tsering Dorjey Memorial Government Middle School, Gonpa Leh, officially recognising it as a Council Model School.
The MoU signing took place in the presence of Sh. Tsering Angchuk, Hon’ble Deputy Chairman, LAHDC Leh; Mrs. Deldan Angmo, Chief Education Officer; Mrs. Tsering Wangmo, Headmaster of the school; Dr. Tsewang Rinchen, Chairperson of the School Management Committee (SMC) along with SMC members; Goba members; and the President of Gonpa Thundel Tsogspa.
This step marks a significant move towards strengthening the quality of education in the region and promoting model schools as centres of excellence.
