Kargil, : Fisheries Department Kargil on Saturday organized a National Fisheries Digital Platform registration program at Assistant Director Fisheries Office Qatilgah complex Kargil.
This program is part of a nationwide campaign, running from February 14 to 22, 2025, aimed at enhancing registrations on the National Fisheries Digital Platform (NFDP).
The program was attended by Assistant Director Fisheries Kargil. The Assistant Director Fisheries Kargil briefed the fish famers about the benefit of being registered at the NFDP portal.
He said that the NFDP is a digital initiative designed to support India’s fisheries sector by providing a centralized platform for fish farmers.
The platform offers various benefits, including access to government schemes, financial support, and performance grants to enhance productivity.
The registration program organized by the Fisheries Department of Kargil likely included on-spot registration of fishermen and fish farmers.
