Kargil, April 6: Authorities have ordered action after Government Middle School Sharchay was found closed during working hours, following reports in the media.
The Education Department has directed the Zonal Education Officer to take immediate action against those responsible. To strengthen academic functioning, six teachers have already been posted at the school, while two additional language teachers will be deployed shortly.
Officials reiterated their commitment to ensuring uninterrupted education and maintaining accountability. The department also announced the implementation of a face-based attendance system across institutions to improve punctuality and monitoring of staff.
Parents have been assured that the school will function effectively with adequate teaching staff, and strict action will be taken against any negligence.
