Kargil The ICDS Project Shargole celebrated the 10th day of Poshan Maah and Sewa Parv at Community Hall Pashkum. The event was organised under the supervision of CDPO Shargole and was attended by Supervisor Punchok Dolma and Kacho Mustafa, Block Coordinator, and Anganwadi Workers of Pashkum Zone.
The event saw enthusiastic participation from beneficiaries of Anganwadi center, comprising children, pregnant women, lactating mothers, and village women. CDPO Shargole interacted with participants, emphasizing the importance of incorporating local foods into their diet once a week for a healthier lifestyle. Supervisor Punchok Dolma delivered awareness on PMMVY schemes, while Kacho Mustafa shared insights on the theme and importance of Poshan Maah celebration.
During the event, the Block Coordinator registered three PMMVY cases and FRS of some beneficiaries were completed. Anganwadi Workers exhibited local foods and vegetables, highlighting their nutritional importance. Beneficiaries were also interacted with regarding service satisfaction, including SNP, growth monitoring, and PMMVY.
