Leh: Hon’ble Chairman/Chief Executive Councillor, LAHDC Leh, Adv. Tashi Gyalson, was called on by Mr. Tsultim Dorjey, President and Director of the Tibetan Cancer Society, along with his team.
The delegation expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Hon’ble CEC for the support extended towards the successful conduct of their recent series of health camps held in various remote areas of Ladakh. The camps focused on early detection and awareness of H. pylori-related illnesses and witnessed active participation from the local communities.
During the meeting, they also discussed the Society’s initiative to distribute sweaters to underprivileged children as part of their continued outreach efforts.
H’CEC Tashi Gyalson appreciated the team’s dedicated work in improving access to preventive healthcare in far-flung areas and assured continued support from the Hill Council in facilitating such community-oriented initiatives in the future.
