Leh: As part of Month of Compassion, the Sheep Husbandry Department organized Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD) vaccination drive at Khardong village, administering vaccines to 350 animals. This initiative is part of a broader effort under the “Month of Compassion” campaign.
Concurrently, Block Office Leh also organized a health camp and administered FMD vaccines under the aegis of FAC Changspa, further bolstering the region’s efforts to combat the highly contagious disease and protect livestock health.These drives underscore the commitment of local authorities to animal welfare and the economic well-being of the communities dependent on animal husbandry.
