Leh: The fourth day of the National Level Training Program for Booth Level Officers (BLOs) was held on July 11, at the Conference Hall, DC Office Leh.
The session focused on house-to-house voter verification, inclusion of voters residing abroad, and strengthening field-level electoral work. ERO Ghulam Mohammad (ADC Leh) addressed the participants and emphasized the importance of maintaining complete and accurate voter lists. He urged BLOs to ensure that no eligible voter is excluded, particularly those who are currently living outside the country, and highlighted their responsibility in upholding the integrity of the electoral roll.
Chozin Palmo, Kunzang Dolma, and Kunzes Angmo conducted interactive sessions and demonstrated the use of a mobile application for voter data collection, outlining the responsibilities and best practices for BLOs.
At the end of the session, ADDC Leh distributed certificates to all participants in recognition of their active involvement.
Around 50 participants, including BLOs, Tehsildar Khalsi, and election staff, attended the session with enthusiasm. The training continues in daily batches to ensure effective learning and participation.
