Zanskar: In a continued effort to ensure last-mile delivery of government services, a Darthi Aaba Jan Bhagidari Abhiyan awareness and benefit saturation camp was organized today at Panchayat Halqa Raru Muna, located in the remote Lungnak Block of Sub-Division Zanskar.
The multi-departmental outreach initiative brought together officials from key departments, including Revenue, Health (Block Medical Office), Education, Veterinary, Rural Development, PHE (Jal Jeevan Mission), Tourism, R&B, ICDS, SBI, Agriculture, and Food Supplies.
Residents of the area availed themselves of various citizen-centric services, such as issuance of Ladakh Resident Certificates (LRC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and income certificates, free medical consultations, Aadhaar card services (including updates and address corrections), and veterinary services with on-site distribution of medicines.
The camp also served as a platform to raise awareness about welfare schemes and developmental initiatives, encouraging active citizen participation in governance.
Mr. Tundup Dorjay, Block Development Officer (BDO) Lungnak, acted as the Nodal Officer for the camp, overseeing smooth coordination and service delivery.
This outreach effort under the Darthi Aaba Abhiyan reaffirms the administration’s commitment to inclusive development and reaching underserved populations in far-flung areas of Ladakh.
