Leh: Chairman/CEC, LAHDC Leh, Advocate Tashi Gyalson convened a meeting in his office chamber to discuss matters related to the proposed construction of a Buddha statue at Sindhu Ghat, Shey.
The meeting was attended by the Superintending Engineer PWD, the Executive Engineer of Construction Division Leh, the President of Ladakh Buddhist Association Leh, the President of All Ladakh Gonpa Association, the Consultant associated with the project, and the concerned contractor.
During the meeting, a presentation and a discussion was held on the concept of the initial construction of the Buddha statue. The initiative is aimed at creating a landmark of spiritual and cultural significance.
