Nyoma: Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Nyoma, Tushar Anand (IAS), conducted a detailed inspection of Hanley village, accompanied by officials from various departments under the Nyoma sub-division. The visit aimed to review the status of ongoing development projects and directly engage with villagers to understand their pressing concerns.
During the interaction, the Nambardar of Hanley highlighted several critical issues affecting the community. Key among them were the unreliable electricity supply and the urgent need for effective solar power solutions to ensure consistent energy access. Concerns were also raised regarding irregular water supply under the Jal Jeevan Mission, incomplete fencing work at Khaldo, and the requirement for a vital link road to improve connectivity in the region. Additionally, the villagers expressed frustration over the poor BSNL mobile network performance, which continues to hamper communication in the area.
Responding to the grievances, SDM Tushar Anand assured the residents of swift redressal. He committed to escalating the issues to the concerned departments and emphasized the need for timely and coordinated action. The SDM also directed the accompanying departmental officials to prepare comprehensive action reports and expedite measures to address the highlighted challenges.
The visit underscored the administration’s commitment to inclusive development and ensuring that the voices of remote communities like Hanley are heard and acted upon.
