Kargil: Jahangeer Akhone, a JKAS officer, has been transferred and posted as Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Kargil, with the additional charge of Deputy Director Employment, Kargil. He assumed the charge of ACR on May 13, 2025.
Jahangeer Akhone was previously posted as Tehsildar Khansahab of District Budgam, of UT, J&K.
The officer was part of a larger batch of JKAS officers transferred and posted in the Union Territory of Ladakh waiting for orders of adjustment.
