Leh : Chairman/CEC, LAHDC Leh, Adv. Tashi Gyalson was called on by a delegation from Sku-Markha and Chilling Sumda today led by Sku-Markha Councillor Sonam Nurboo.
The delegation included Ven. Jigmet Tundup along with other venerable monks, who discussed the challenges faced by elderly people in their region, particularly the hardship of travelling long distances.They requested the Hon’ble CEC to consider setting up a dedicated old age facility in the Leh area to provide better care and support for senior citizens.
CEC assured the delegation of council’s full support and assistance in addressing the concerned raised.
