Leh: Eighteen staff members of the Ladakh Rural Livelihood Mission (LRLM) have successfully completed a 15-day orientation program under the Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana – National Rural Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NRLM) in Warangal, Telangana.
The training, designed to enhance grassroots implementation, combined in-class learning with practical fieldwork, strengthening participants’ understanding of community institutions and rural development strategies.
This capacity-building initiative was conducted as part of the tripartite Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between LRLM, Orrugulu Maha Samakhya (OMS), and the Society for Elimination of Rural Poverty (SERP). The program is expected to bolster the implementation of NRLM’s vision in Ladakh, fostering sustainable rural development and empowering Self-Help Group (SHG) women in the region.
