Khaltse: The 15th National Voters’ Day was celebrated at the Tehsil Complex, Khaltse, under the theme “Nothing Like Voting, I Vote for Sure.” The event was organized under the leadership of Tehsildar and Assistant Electoral Registration Officer (AERO) Khaltse, Mohd Sharief.
During the celebration, Electoral Photo Identity Cards (EPIC) were handed over by the Tehsildar to the Booth Level Officers (BLOs) for distribution to newly registered young voters. The Tehsildar also administered the Voter’s Pledge to all participants, emphasizing the importance of voting and its role in upholding democracy.
Speaking at the event, Mohd Sharief highlighted the significance of Constitution Day and encouraged citizens to actively participate in the democratic process.
The event witnessed the participation of Naib Tehsildars Asgar Ali (Khaltse), Mohd Iqbal (Temisgam), Abdul Samad (Skurbuchan), Heads of Departments, BLOs, officials from Munsiff Court Khaltse, and representatives from various departments of the sub-division.
