Leh: Under the NIPUN Bharat Mission, the District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) Leh successfully concluded 05 days of training for Bhoti teachers from various government schools in the Leh district, along with an English e-workshop for teachers of the Durbuk zone today. The eminent scholar Gehsey Khenrab Gyatso from Monlam IT Research Centre Dharamsala, Venerable Gen Stanzin Norboo, a Bhoti language teacher, and Sh. The Bhoti training was organized for 26 Bhoti teachers from different schools in the Leh district, who were deputed by the Chief Education Officer (CEO) Leh. In addition, many individuals interested in Bhoti, particularly in the “Monlam Dictionary” and artificial intelligence related to the Bhoti language, also joined the training, including teachers from private schools in Leh. As a result, around 76 teachers attended the training.
Sh. Sonam Wangchok, CEO Leh, graced the occasion as the chief guest. During his opening remarks, he commended the participants for their active participation in the Bhoti training. Mrs. Deldan welcomed the chief guest and resource persons and extended her gratitude to all the participants for attending the training. She instructed all the trainees to fully implement the knowledge they had received during the training at the ground level.
Some trainees from Bhoti and English have shared their experiences during the training and as well as given importance feedbacks regarding the training. They suggested to both the CEO Leh and the Principal of DIET Leh that such training in Bhoti should continue and that the number of training days should be increased. On behalf of all the participants, they presented a special memento to the resource persons particularly to Gehsey Khenrab.
