Leh: The Animal Husbandry Department, Leh, successfully conducted a three-day training program for para-veterinary workers (Paravets) under the Research & Innovation, Training, Publicity and Awareness component of the ASCAD Scheme from April 23 to 25, 2026.
The training aimed to enhance the technical knowledge and practical skills of Paravets. During the program, participants were introduced to the latest technological interventions for the diagnosis and treatment of various livestock diseases under field conditions.
Hands-on practical exposure was also provided through farm demonstrations conducted at the department’s farms.
