Leh, Sept 1: Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor Kavinder Gupta on Sunday attended the exhibition on India’s three new criminal laws at the Central Institute of Buddhist Studies (CIBS), Leh.
The Lt Governor commended the initiative, describing the reforms as a transformative step in strengthening justice delivery and empowering citizens. He said the new laws mark a shift towards a more transparent, accessible, and citizen-centric legal framework.
The exhibition aimed to spread awareness about the provisions of the new laws and their impact on ensuring speedy justice and safeguarding citizens’ rights.
