Leh: Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, Shri Kavinder Gupta, chaired a series of high-level review meetings at the LG Secretariat in Leh, aimed at assessing the performance and coordination of several critical government departments.
In the first meeting, LG Gupta held detailed discussions with Secretary Vikram Singh Malik, IAS, and senior officials from the Power Development Department, Department of Youth Services & Sports, and the Department of Information & Public Relations, focusing on infrastructure, youth engagement, and media outreach.
In another session, he reviewed the functioning of the Planning Development & Monitoring Department, State Taxes Department, Excise Department, Hospitality & Protocol Department, and the Department of Civil Aviation. Emphasis was laid on streamlining administrative processes, enhancing inter-departmental synergy, and accelerating development initiatives across the Union Territory.
The meetings underscore the administration’s push for transparent governance, efficient public service delivery, and long-term strategic planning in Ladakh.
