Good Governance Week 2025: “Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore” Programme Held at Tia and Wanla Village

Khaltse, December 24, 2025:

Continuing the week-long celebrations of Good Governance Week 2025, the outreach programme “Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore” was successfully conducted today at Tia and Wanla villages of Khaltse and Singaylalok Blocks in Sub-Division Khaltse.

The programme was held under the supervision of the Incharge Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM), Khaltse, Asgar Ali, with the objective of strengthening last-mile service delivery and promoting transparent, responsive, and citizen-centric governance at the grassroots level.

The outreach programme witnessed active participation from villagers and local representatives. Doctors ,Officers and officials from various government departments, headed by Naib Tehsildars Mohd Iqbal and Phuntsog Namgail, including Health, Revenue, Cooperative, R&B, PHE, Sheep Husbandry, Animal Husbandry, Horticulture, Agriculture, ICDS, Rural Development Department, I&FC, FCS&CA, PDD, Forest and Information Department, actively participated in the camp.

During the programme, the Naib Tehsildars briefed the gathering about the objectives of the outreach camp and advised beneficiaries to avail themselves of the services offered by various departments.

The Medical Department provided PMJAY (Golden Card) services and conducted Hb, blood sugar, and blood pressure check-ups during the camp.

The Revenue Department delivered on-the-spot services, including the issuance of ST, LRC, Income Certificates, revenue extracts, and other related services.

Officials from other line departments also briefed the gathering about various government schemes and provided on-the-spot services to beneficiaries from the villages.

The initiative was widely appreciated by local residents, who welcomed the administration’s efforts to deliver government services at their doorstep. The programme concluded with an assurance from the administration to follow up on pending issues and continue working towards inclusive and effective governance in the rural areas of Sub-Division Khaltse.
